For Recruiters
How do I create a new test?
Log in to your recruiter dashboard, click "Create Test," add your coding questions, set time limits and difficulty levels, then save your assessment.
How do I invite candidates?
From your test dashboard, click "Invite Candidates" and enter their email addresses. They'll receive a link to take the assessment within your specified time window.
How does auto-grading work?
ExamDesk runs candidate submissions against your predefined test cases. Results are calculated instantly, and you can view detailed breakdowns of each submission.
Can I customize proctoring settings?
Yes. You can enable or disable tab-switch detection, fullscreen mode, and other anti-cheating measures for each test independently.
For Candidates
How do I start my assessment?
Click the link in your invitation email. You'll be prompted to log in or create an account, then you can begin your test within the allowed time window.
Can I use my own IDE?
All coding must be done within the ExamDesk editor to ensure fair evaluation. The editor supports 50+ programming languages with syntax highlighting and auto-complete.
What happens if I lose internet connection?
Your code is auto-saved every few seconds. If you reconnect within a reasonable time, you can continue where you left off. Contact your recruiter if issues persist.
Can I practice before my actual test?
If your recruiter has enabled Practice Mode, you'll see a "Practice" option before starting the actual assessment.
